Why a hay rack or hay bag for degus?
Loose hay on the floor quickly becomes dirty, damp, or drips throughout the enclosure. With a hay rack or hay bag, you can offer hay in a fixed, clean spot . This gives you a clear overview (less mess, less waste) and provides your degus with a designated feeding and snacking zone. What should you pay attention to with degu hay racks?
