I would like to trade

If you want to exchange the product you have received, this is possible. You can contact customer service and return your product. You bear the costs for your return shipment. We will then send the correct product to you as quickly as possible free of charge. You can find out how to do this under "What do I have to do to return products?"

Within how many days can I send something back?

You can return your product (s) within 14 days. You bear the costs for this return shipment. In this case we will refund the purchase amount including shipping costs to your account within 14 days. You can read how to do this at "What do I have to do to return products?"

* Living products, such as plants, cannot be returned.

What do I have to do to return products?

As indicated in the general terms and conditions, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the date of receipt of our products. Below is worked out how the revocation process at DRD Rodent Shop proceeds and what preconditions apply for this.

If you want to make use of the right of withdrawal or if you want to exchange, you must go through the following steps:

You complete the withdrawal form or the exchange form and enclose this in the box.
You generate a shipping label to return the package via PostNL. The link to create the label can be found in the e-mail with the Track e Trace data. "Your order is on its way"

The returned products must reasonably be returned undamaged, clean and without traces of use in the original manner in undamaged packaging and complete with, among other things, the accompanying documentation, accessories and the like. If returned products do not meet these requirements, then DRD Knaagdierwinkel can either deduct a reasonable fee from the amount to be reimbursed for making the returned product suitable for resale (repackaging, supplementing with missing parts).

If you have followed the above instructions, we will refund the amounts paid by you as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods. To do this, you must state your bank or giro account number and the name of the account holder when returning the item. Reimbursement of the purchase amount will include the shipping costs of the return shipment. The costs for the return shipment are for your own account.

What should I do if an item has arrived damaged?

We do everything to pack items as well as possible, but it can happen that an item is damaged during transport. If that happens, do the following:

- Report this to us within 2 days via a ticket or email
- Take a photo / video of the damage
- Take a photo of the packing slip showing who has packed your order
- Take a picture of the contents of the box (including packing material)
- Take a photo of the shipping label on the box

What is the difference between warranty and exchange?

In the event of a warranty, first follow the steps of "What should I do if an item has arrived damaged?" In the event of a warranty, we will return the relevant item (free of charge) to repair or replace it, after which it will be resent.

In the event of an exchange, an item is returned to exchange it for another item. We do not offer a free return service. The return costs are for your own account and the costs for resending the desired item are for our account.

It is not possible to combine warranty with an exchange.

How quickly will my money be refunded?

If a credit arises after processing your return shipment, you will receive a message about this and we will endeavor to refund the amount to your account within 14 days.
