Sustainable Return Policy

We all have an effect on our surroundings and the environment. We as DRD Rodent Shop are also very aware of this. We feel responsible for making a positive contribution and for doing better every day. A sustainable return policy is an important part of this. Returns are unfortunately very harmful to the environment due to the extra transport; you need two rides instead of one.

We try to keep the number of returns as low as possible. We do this by describing our products as well as possible and providing them with clear and truthful product photos. In addition, we package our products as compact and sturdy as possible to minimize damage during transport. A compactly packed product also takes up less space in transport, allowing the delivery person to take more parcels with one journey.


If it still happens that you as a customer are not satisfied with a product, you can return your product (s) within 14 days. Together with you, we take care of the environment.

Within how many days can I send something back?

You can return your product (s) within 14 days. You bear the costs for this return shipment. In this case we will refund the purchase amount including shipping costs** to your account within 14 days. You can read how to do this at "What do I have to do to return products?"

What do I have to do to return products?

As indicated in the general terms and conditions, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the date of receipt of our products. Below is worked out how the revocation process at DRD Rodent Shop proceeds and what preconditions apply for this.

If you want to make use of the right of withdrawal or if you want to exchange, you must go through the following steps:

You complete the withdrawal form and enclose this in the box.

The returned products must reasonably be returned undamaged, clean and without traces of use in the original manner in undamaged packaging and complete with, among other things, the accompanying documentation, accessories and the like. If returned products do not meet these requirements, then DRD Knaagdierwinkel can either deduct a reasonable fee from the amount to be reimbursed for making the returned product suitable for resale (repackaging, supplementing with missing parts).

If you have followed the above instructions, we will refund the amounts paid by you as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days after receipt of the returned goods. To do this, you must state your bank or giro account number and the name of the account holder when returning the item. Reimbursement of the purchase amount will include the shipping costs** of the return shipment. The costs for the return shipment are for your own account.

How quickly will my money be refunded?

If a credit arises after processing your return shipment, you will receive a message about this and we will endeavor to refund the amount to your account within 14 days.
