The botanical name Chlorophytum is derived from the Greek terms chloros = yellowish-green and phyton = plant. The green lily is not only a beautiful houseplant but also popular with cats and rodents because of its sturdy leaves. Even birds and terrarium inhabitants enjoy nibbling on the plant. The high water content of the leaves likely contributes to its popularity: they serve as water storage organs. This trick also allows this plant to easily survive "thirsty days." So you don't need a particularly green thumb for this plant!
✔ 100% Organic
✔ Specially grown as a food plant for animals
✔ All nutrients are well preserved in the fresh plant

The hamster scaper's heart will beat faster now, because a fresh plant in the enclosure is, of course, the ultimate natural decoration for a hamster scaping enclosure. There are actually many possibilities here, depending on the substrate. If you're using a "soil-like" substrate like humus , you could choose to plant the plants directly in the ground. The roots will then continue to grow in the soil. This way, you have a permanent plant in the enclosure. How quickly the animals eat the plant depends on the rodent species. Mice, dwarf hamsters, and hamsters are often more relaxed about the plants. Gerbils, on the other hand, nibble on them more quickly.

When hamster scaping, you can also choose to place the plant in a pot in the enclosure. This makes it easier to remove the plant from the enclosure and allow it to grow. Watering is best done with a plant sprayer .
The plants are intended for rodents to eat, not as ornamental plants for the home. Some plant knowledge is required to keep them alive and beautiful.

Oude uitgeschoten plantjes met bruin blad
Mooie biologische plantjes!
Mijn caafjes vinden t super lekker

Staat heel leuk in onze stellingkast!
