Beaphar Care+ rodent and rabbit food is a super premium food, developed in collaboration with veterinarians, nutritionists and leading rodent specialists. The different variants have been put together based on the latest scientific insights.
Beaphar Care+ rabbit and rodent food is a high-quality extruded chunk: the ingredients are brought together under high pressure and temperature to form a crispy chunk. In this process, the food is sterilized and the proteins are made easily digestible. The short heating time preserves vitamins. Because each kibble has the same composition, selective eating behavior is prevented, there are no leftovers and the animal receives all the necessary nutrients.
High-quality proteins
A big difference between Beaphar Care+ and other rodent feeds is the quality of the proteins used. The proteins in Care+ have a high biological value, which means that they are almost exactly the same as those eaten in nature. Omega 3 / Omega 6 fatty acids are present in the ideal ratio. This keeps the heart and blood vessels in optimal condition. A low fat content prevents fat from depositing around the organs.
For optimal intestinal function and good resistance
All Care+ foods contain FOS and MOS to keep the intestines in good condition and ensure optimal absorption of nutrients. Fructo Oligo Saccharide (FOS) stimulates the growth of good intestinal bacteria, which aid in the digestion of food. Mannon Oligo Saccharide (MOS) binds harmful bacteria, eliminates them and removes them through the feces. To protect rodents and rabbits against diseases, all Care+ foods contain Echinacea and Spirulina. These extracts increase the animal's resistance. In addition, Care+ has the Cell Protection System (vitamin E) against aging of the body cells.
