FAQ – Mealberry Little One
Is Mealberry Little One suitable for all rodents?
Little One offers products for multiple animal species. Always choose by species (and age/condition where relevant) and use snacks as a supplement.
What is Green Valley within Little One?
Green Valley is a popular line within our product range. You can find the variations listed with the products on this page.
Do I give snacks every day?
That's fine, as long as the amounts are small and the main focus is on basic nutrition. Use snacks primarily for interaction and foraging.
Do I need hay if I feed complete food?
For herbivores (such as rabbits and guinea pigs), hay is practically a staple food. See also: Hay .
Is bath sand only for chinchillas?
Chinchillas use bath sand as part of their grooming routine. Other animals may also enjoy sand, but always choose a type of sand that suits its purpose.
I'm not sure which Little One is right for my pet – what now?
Start with a suitable foundation (animal species/feeding style) and then add extras. Want to compare? Also check out our Nutrition and species pages.
