Why a sandbox for small rodents?

How to Use the Sandbox

Using the sandbox is easy. Fill it with plenty of chinchilla sand . This special sand is fine and soft, making it ideal for bathing. Make sure the layer is thick enough for your rodent to roll around in. Avoid using other types of sand, such as shell sand, as it's far too sharp and can damage your rodent's skin and fur.

• Use only chinchilla sand as bath sand.
• Provide a sufficiently thick layer of sand so that your rodent can bathe comfortably.
• Never use shell sand , it is too sharp and harmful to the skin and coat.
