At DRD Knaagdierwinkel®, we value feedback. Reviews help us improve and help other small-animal and rabbit owners choose with confidence. Because there are different types of reviews, we explain the difference between company reviews and product reviews — and how we handle them.

Difference: company vs product reviews
- ✓ Company reviews cover DRD as a business (service, delivery, communication, overall experience) and are hosted on external platforms.
- ✓ Product reviews are about a specific item (quality, sizing, use, experience for a species) and are shown on our product pages.
Company reviews (Google, Trustpilot, Feedback Company)
On independent review platforms, customers can share their experience with DRD Knaagdierwinkel®. These platforms have their own rules and processes. We cannot pre-moderate, edit, or selectively remove company reviews. Where appropriate, we may respond to clarify or help.

Product reviews (on our website)
Product reviews help other customers choose the right item: sizing, materials, usability, and real-life experience for a specific species or enclosure.
Because product reviews are hosted on our own website, we can moderate them — but only to keep content safe, relevant, and respectful. We do not moderate opinions. Positive and critical product reviews are welcome, as long as they follow the rules below.

Company reviews (external)
✓ No moderation by DRD: the platform sets the rules.
✓ We may respond to clarify or help.
Product reviews (on our website)
We may edit or remove a product review if it:
- ✓ contains abusive or discriminatory language;
- ✓ is spam, advertising, or nonsense content;
- ✓ includes sensitive personal data (address, phone, email, payment details);
- ✓ is clearly not about the product (e.g., only delivery/customer service);
- ✓ is misleading or violates third-party rights.
Important: we do not remove product reviews simply because they are critical.

Do you moderate company reviews?
No. Company reviews are hosted on external platforms (Google/Trustpilot/Feedback Company). We do not control moderation there.
Do you moderate product reviews?
Yes, but only for safety, relevance, and respectful tone (e.g., no spam, no personal data, no abuse). Not for opinions.
Why can a product review be removed?
Only for rule violations (spam, abuse, privacy, not product-related). Critical reviews remain visible.
