ESVE Cotton Ground Covering – dust-free and extra absorbent
ESVE Cotton is an organic bedding made from cottonseed fiber. It absorbs moisture and odors effectively, keeping the enclosure clean and dry for longer. Because it's dust-free, it's especially pleasant for animals who appreciate fresh, clean bedding.

Good to know: Cotton is very absorbent; wipe away wet spots regularly to keep the surface fresh and dry.
Our tip: Create a clear "toilet zone" with an extra thick layer and keep a separate play/rest zone a bit more airy for more comfort.

Instructions for use
- Clean and dry the base plate or tray before you start
- Apply a generous, even layer of bedding (see your pet's preference)
- Remove wet spots daily/every other day and top up where necessary
Maintenance & storage
- Cleaning: Refresh (partially) by removing wet spots and replace completely regularly
- Storage: dry and clean, out of direct sunlight
- Practical: keep a fixed "toilet place", this saves a lot of maintenance
Please note: Check the enclosure regularly and replace the substrate in time when it becomes damp or dirty.

Ik heb deze gekocht en geprobeerd, omdat The Natural Brand Cotton & Cotton die ik al jaren koop, niet voorradig was.
De verpakking is kleiner omdat het verder lijkt te zijn samengeperst dan de Cotton & Cotton. Daardoor is het ook iets meer werk het uit elkaar te halen om het in de kooi over de bodem te verdelen. Het lijkt ook alsof deze katoen delen iets kleiner zijn dan Cotton & Cotton, maar misschien lijkt dat zo doordat het sterker is samengeperst. Het is wel iets goedkoper en de kleinere verpakking kost ook minder opslagruimte.
Wat me wel een beetje tegenviel zijn de stofwolken die uit het product kwamen en de stof prikkeling in mijn neus toen ik het samengeperste product uit elkaar haalde en in de kooi verdeelde. Dat heb ik bij de Cotton & Cotton nog nooit gehad.
De plastic verpakking vind ik niet echt stevig ten opzichte van het gewicht van de inhoud en raakt daardoor redelijk eenvoudig beschadigd of lek tijdens het dragen en verplaatsen.
Als tijdelijke vervanger voor The Natural Brand Cotton & Cotton vind ik het wel oké, maar wanneer Cotton & Cotton weer voorradig is, bestel ik die toch liever weer.
