Werkt in principe als beloofd. Gerbils rennen er heel graag in (uren achter elkaar). Maakt wel een licht schurend geluid; voor even is dat niet erg, maar voor een hele avond wel. Ik heb daarom een stiller looprad aangeschaft.

Een heel fijn rad voor een Russische dwerghamster. Ik heb de 28 cm gekocht. Deze is natuurlijker en velen malen stiller dan de aluminium variant. Ferris traint een hoop af in dit ding! Hamsterproof en daarom 5 sterren.

33 cm rad gekocht voor mijn 3 dumbo ratjes. De ratjes vinden het looprad leuk en maken er veel gebruik van. Helaas hebben ze binnen 2 dagen alle kurk eruit getrokken. Ze hebben ook in het rad geplast waardoor na een maand gebruik de lucht heel sterk is.. ik zal toch overgaan op een metalen of kunststof rad.

Dit wiel is erg stil, zelfs na een volledig jaar gebruik van mijn hamster is het nogsteeds stil. Het is me wel opgevallen dat het rad wel steeds verder door zakt waardoor er minder ruimte komt tussen de voet en het wiel. Mijn rad hing daarom altijd aan de bovenkant van de kooi, waardoor hij meer ruimte had om zonder problemen door te zakken. Ik heb onlangs een nieuwe kooi gekocht waar het rad niet langer aan het plafond gehangen kan, dus ik vraag me af hoe lang die het nog gaat volhouden.. Maar het afgelopen jaar was ik er erg tevreden mee.

Mijn hamstertje van ongeveer 6 weken oud kan goed rennen op dit rad. Ze had hiervoor een ander houten rad, maar die was volgens mij te zwaar voor haar. Ze durfde er niet op door te rennen. Ze remde de hele tijd af. Op deze gaat het wel heel goed. Jammere is wel dat ze er op poept en plast. Dus ik hoop dat ie lang meegaat. Maar daar kan ik nu nog niks over zeggen.

- Hij maakt heel weinig geluid dus dat is top, hij staat in mijn slaapkamer dus snachts niet zo veel geluid. Hij staat mooi in het hok en geeft een natuur achtige look

Het is opzich wel een prima looprad, alleen als je hamster zijn/haar behoeftes doet in het loopwiel, is het niet aanteraden. Veder is er een beetje water op gekomen waardoor het onderste plankje nu misvormd is en het loopwiel ging naar een paar maanden heel erg naar voor buigen, daardoor is nu zit er nog maar 1cm ruimte tussen het rad zelf en het houten onderstuk. Mooi loopwiel om te zien en de afmetingen zijn perfect voor een hamster of gerbil. Helaas maakt het wiel ontzettend veel geluid en is de kwaliteit niet goed. De kurk wordt door fanatieke knagertjes eruit gesloopt.

Geweldig rad! Mijn goudhamster is er niet uit te krijgen. Het rad is erg stil en veilig omdat hij dicht is. Mijn hamster plast er wel in maar ik heb een 2e rad gekocht en ik heb csi urine verwijderaar en deze spuit ik dan ruim op het kurk wat in het radje zit. Geur gaat eruit en ik wissel dus de radjes af zodat de andere goed kan drogen.

Onlangs dit looprad 28 cm aangeschaft voor onze goudhamster. De hamster woont in de slaapkamer van onze dochter, we waren dan ook op zoek naar een geruisloos looprad. Op aanraden van de hamster verkoopster kwamen we uit op dit rad. Eerst nog even wel in de lak gezet, zodat eventuele urine er niet direct in zou trekken. Wat we terug krijgen van onze dochter is, is dat ze het rad niet hoort, alleen het getrappel van de pootjes. Het rad zelf is geruisloos en loopt soepel. Houd er wel rekening mee, dat het rad zelf een afmeting heeft van 28 cm, mét voet komt het op een hoogte van 33 cm.

Het rad is groter dan hij in eerste instantie op de foto lijkt. Mijn hamster vindt het geweldig, dus dat is het niet, maar goed om je bewust van te zijn.

Stilste looprad OOIT! ... maar ... mijn hamsters plassen in hun looprad en dus na 1.5 week was de stank niet meer te doen. Heb dit radje proberen proper maken met lauw water en ik was héél voorzichtig om niet méér dan nodig nat te maken (hout + water..) Het rad was na één kuisbeurt kapot. De lijm kwam los en het was gewoon niet meer te redden. Zeer jammer!! Misschien dat het met de CSI Spray wél te kuisen is (die heb ik ondertussen thuis staan) maar ik durf het niet riskeren deze opnieuw te bestellen.
