Think of pellets as enrichment and reward . Choose primarily based on your goal : do you want something spicy for variety, something vegetable-like for a change, or perhaps fruit/seed as a "high-value" treat?
1) Herbal pellets (popular for variety)
- Examples: nettle, basil, dill, green oats, sainfoin, peppermint, dandelion, parsley.
- Great as a “daily enrichment”: small, dry, easy to hide.
2) Vegetable pellets (variation in taste and texture)

What are rat pellets?
