What is Coroplast and why is it so popular?
Coroplast is a ribbed polypropylene material made from thermoplastic. Its properties are somewhere between light cardboard and sturdy solid plastic.
This material has become very popular with guinea pig owners worldwide! Coroplast is easy to cut to size and foldable, so that the edges of the bottom tray stand up. This ensures that hay and poop stay neatly in the cage. Handy, right?
