Product description

Beaphar Multi-Vit for Rodents & Rabbits 20 ml

Beaphar Multi-Vit is a liquid vitamin supplement for rodents and rabbits. The drops contain 11 vitamins and are intended to support normal skin, coat, and condition. This product is particularly interesting for guinea pigs because it also contains vitamin C. Guinea pigs cannot produce vitamin C themselves and are therefore dependent on proper daily nutrition and appropriate supplementation when necessary.

The drops are easy to mix into the food. This makes Beaphar Multi-Vit practical for owners who want to give their animal targeted extra vitamins, for example during shedding, when there is a temporarily higher need, or as part of a careful grooming session.

Why choose Beaphar Multi-Vit?

A good daily foundation always remains the most important: appropriate feed, hay where appropriate for the animal species, sufficient fiber, species-specific care, and a gradually established living environment. Beaphar Multi-Vit can be used alongside this as a vitamin supplement when you wish to provide targeted extra support.

The composition is primarily focused on vitamins that play a role in normal condition, skin, coat, and the immune system. The liquid form makes the product easy to dose and simple to mix into the food. This is convenient when you do not want to use loose tablets or powders.

How do you use Beaphar Multi-Vit?

Mix the drops into the food. Use the dosage per animal per day as indicated below. Do not exceed the recommended amount, as vitamin supplements must be dosed carefully.

Animal Daily dosage
Mice, hamsters and gerbils 2 drops
Guinea pigs 4–5 drops
Rabbits 3 drops per kg of body weight

Are you using Beaphar Multi-Vit for a different rodent species, or are you unsure about the correct dosage? Then it is best to opt for careful customization based on the animal species, age, weight, diet, and situation. We are happy to help you find the right solution.

For which animals is Beaphar Multi-Vit suitable?

  • Mouse: suitable as a liquid vitamin supplement; mix the drops into the food according to the dosage for mice.
  • Dwarf hamster: suitable when you want to provide targeted extra vitamins; dose carefully and mix into the food.
  • Hamster: suitable for Syrian hamsters and Teddy hamsters as a vitamin supplement alongside an appropriate daily diet.
  • Gerbil: suitable as a targeted supplement; mix the drops into the food and adhere to the recommended dosage.
  • Dwarf bone: can be used as a vitamin supplement when appropriate for the situation; carefully adjust the dosage to the animal.
  • Rat: suitable as a targeted supplement alongside a complete rat diet, especially when you want to temporarily offer extra vitamins.
  • Guinea pig: particularly relevant due to the added vitamin C, as guinea pigs cannot produce vitamin C themselves.
  • Rabbit: suitable as a vitamin supplement; the dosage is calculated per kg of body weight.
  • Chinchilla: only use specifically when a vitamin supplement is truly desired; if in doubt, adjust this based on diet, condition, and needs.
  • Degu: use only carefully and purposefully; with degus, it is especially important to choose food and supplements consciously.

Good to know

Beaphar Multi-Vit is intended as a supplement to daily care. It does not replace appropriate basic nutrition or veterinary advice when your animal has clear symptoms, is eating less, losing weight, is lethargic, or is behaving differently than normal. In such situations, it is wise not to rely solely on vitamins but to have the underlying cause properly assessed.

Store the product in a cool, dry place and out of reach of children. Close the bottle tightly after use and always check the expiry date on the packaging.

Frequently asked questions about Beaphar Multi-Vit

What do you use Beaphar Multi-Vit for?

Beaphar Multi-Vit is used as a liquid vitamin supplement for rodents and rabbits. The product contains 11 vitamins and supports, among other things, normal skin, coat, and condition.

Is Beaphar Multi-Vit suitable for guinea pigs?

Yes, Beaphar Multi-Vit is suitable for guinea pigs and also contains vitamin C. This is important because guinea pigs cannot produce vitamin C themselves and must obtain this vitamin through their diet.

How do you give the drops?

Mix the drops into the food. Adhere to the dosage per animal per day: mice, hamsters, and gerbils 2 drops; guinea pigs 4–5 drops; and rabbits 3 drops per kg of body weight.

Can I give this daily?

Always follow the recommended dosage on the packaging. A vitamin supplement is intended to be carefully dosed alongside a normal diet, not to be given without restriction.

When should I go to the vet?

Contact a veterinarian if your animal is eating less, losing weight, is lethargic, appears to be in pain, has diarrhea, or shows clear symptoms. A supplement can provide support, but does not resolve underlying health problems.
