LICG advice & space requirements for guinea pigs

A good living environment is essential for the well-being of guinea pigs. The LICG (National Information Center for Companion Animals) recommends the following minimum floor space (contiguous area):

• 2 guinea pigs : minimum 0.9 m²
• 3 guinea pigs : minimum 1.2 m²
• 4 guinea pigs: minimum 1.5 m²
