Grass Toy 7 cm for Rodents and Rabbits

Grass Toy 7 cm – roll, explore and nibble

This round Grass Toy gives your pet something to explore, move around and nibble. Made from grass with corn leaves, it measures approximately 7 cm in diameter. Its round shape and protruding leaves add variety for rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas and degus. Simply place it in a dry spot where your pet can easily reach it.

Why choose a grass toy?

A toy does not need to be complicated to add something to your pet’s enclosure. With this Grass Toy, the variety comes from its shape and material. Your pet can push the round body with its nose or start by nibbling the leaves. One small item offers several ways to stay busy.

The surface makes a difference, too. On a flat floor, the toy rolls away more easily when your pet nudges it. On loose bedding, it is more likely to stay in place, making exploring and nibbling the main activities. Choose the spot to suit how your pet likes to use it.

The natural grass colour fits nicely alongside wooden houses, tunnels and other natural materials. At 7 cm, the toy is easy to add to an existing setup. You do not need to move a large accessory or attach anything to the cage bars.

Which pets is this toy suitable for?

You can offer the Grass Toy to the following pets. Let your pet discover its own favourite way to play or nibble.

• Rat: for exploring, moving around and nibbling. Place it on the enclosure floor so it can move during play.
• Guinea pig: as nibbling material with a round shape that can be pushed with the nose.
• Rabbit: as a loose toy to nudge with the nose, pick up with the mouth and nibble.
• Chinchilla: for variety in chewing materials, offered in a dry spot on the floor.
• Degu: for exploring and chewing the grass and corn leaves.

How to offer the Grass Toy

Place the toy in a clean, dry spot in the enclosure or a secure play area. Choose somewhere your pet can reach from ground level, with enough room to move it a little. Let your pet get to know the material at its own pace.

Watch how your pet uses it. Some pets start with the protruding leaves, while others nibble the round body first. Pulling it apart is also a way of using the toy: exploring and taking apart the material is part of the activity it offers.

For variety, alternate the Grass Toy with other chewing materials or a simple foraging game. This lets you vary what you offer and discover which materials your pet enjoys using.
