Glass Food Bowl or Water Bowl for Small Rodents
This glass food bowl or water bowl gives food or drinking water a lovely place in the enclosure. It is suitable for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters and gerbils. The clear glass blends beautifully with the natural materials in your setup, without drawing attention away from the rest of the enclosure.
Use it as a food bowl for daily meals or as a water bowl. We recommend placing the bowl on a stable platform. This combines a tidy feeding or drinking area with a firm base, even when there is plenty of digging going on nearby.

A glass bowl in your natural setup
When furnishing a natural enclosure, you want the practical accessories to fit in with the overall look too. This glass bowl has a simple, transparent appearance. It combines easily with wood, cork and other natural materials. The surroundings remain visible through the glass, helping the feeding or drinking area blend gently into the enclosure.
The clear glass also has a practical benefit: you can see what is in the bowl from the side. This is useful when checking and topping it up. You do not need to take the bowl out of the setup every time. When it needs cleaning, simply lift it out and return it to its usual place afterwards.
For food or water
You choose how to use the bowl. As a food bowl, it provides a regular place to offer food. This keeps the feeding area organised and helps you see what is still in the bowl. Adjust the contents to your animal's food and daily portion.
As a water bowl, it creates an open drinking spot in the enclosure. Would you like to offer both food and water in glass bowls? Use two separate bowls so that each has its own place. You can put them together on a spacious platform or give each bowl a different, easily accessible position that suits your setup.
Place it securely on a platform
A lovely spot should also be a practical one. We prefer to place bowls like this on a stable platform. A firm surface supports the entire bowl and helps prevent it from tilting when the bedding around it is moved. This is particularly useful in an enclosure where there is a lot of digging.
Choose a platform where the bowl sits level, with enough space left to reach it. Keep the route to the feeding or drinking area clear. This allows your animal to reach the bowl easily and lets you check, refill and clean it every day without having to move decorations first.
You can arrange the bedding around the platform so that it flows into the rest of the setup. This keeps the firm base part of the overall design. Leave the bowl itself clear, with its rim easily accessible. Together, a platform and a glass bowl can create a calm, well-organised feeding or drinking area.

Combining it with your enclosure furnishings
Would you like to create a coordinated feeding or drinking area? Start by choosing the position of the platform, then work out how the rest of the enclosure fits around it. Leaving space around the bowl keeps it accessible and easy to reach during daily care. The transparent glass combines easily with different bedding colours and types of wood.
