With Dari Cob Sorghum Harvest, you give your small rodent or bird a natural, seed-rich harvest to really engage with. The seeds are still attached to the cob, allowing your animal to sniff, search, pluck, and explore on its own. This makes feeding more varied than loose seeds in a bowl.
This harvest is available in red and black. Both variants make beautiful natural enrichment and immediately give the enclosure more structure and character. You can offer the cob separately, place it among natural decorations, or stick it into the bedding as a small harvest tree. As a result, Dari Cob Sorghum Harvest fits very well into hamsterscaping, gerbilscaping, and natural foraging corners.
✔ Natural harvest allowing animals to pick the seeds themselves
✔ Ideal as foraging enrichment for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, and rats
✔ Also suitable as a natural variation for birds
✔ Great for hamsterscaping and gerbilscaping
✔ Available in red and black for a natural and decorative variation
✔ Helps make feeding more interesting and less monotonous
Many snacks are gone quickly. That can be fine sometimes, but it offers little challenge. With a harvest product like Dari Kolf Sorghum Oogst, feeding takes longer and there is more going on. Your animal has to search, pluck, and investigate to get to the seeds.
This is valuable for small rodents because they actively use their environment. Mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, and rats can hold the cob, move it, gnaw on it, or pull the seeds off one by one. As a result, eating becomes not just a feeding moment, but also an activity.
For hamsterscaping and gerbilscaping , dari/sorghum fits beautifully into a natural harvest corner. You can use the cob as an eye-catcher, a foraging spot, or as part of a field-style scape with wood, cork, moss, and other harvested materials.
Dari Kolf Sorghum Oogst is available in red and black. Both varieties are natural sorghum cobs and are primarily chosen for their appearance, variety, and what looks best in the enclosure. Red provides a warm harvest look, while black often appears somewhat bolder and more contrasting in a natural scape.
You can choose one color or alternate between red and black. For your animal, it is mainly about natural plucking, exploring, and foraging.
Dari Kolf Sorghum Oogst is especially suitable for small rodents and birds that enjoy playing with seed-rich harvest materials.
For guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, and degus, dari/sorghum is not a staple food. For these animals, the emphasis lies primarily on hay, fiber-rich foods, and species-appropriate herbs. Therefore, it is preferable to use harvested seed materials as limited variety when this fits within the total ration.
You can offer Dari Kolf Sorghum Oogst in various ways. Choose the method that suits your animal, the enclosure, and the setup.
Mice love searching, gathering, and small foraging spots. Offer a small piece of corn cob or place the cob in a spot where they can easily reach it. Mice may actively pluck and take pieces with them.
Dwarf hamsters often find seed-rich harvesting materials very interesting. You can tuck the cob partially into the bedding as a mini-tree or offer it separately as a natural activity.
Golden hamsters can actively investigate, move, or take Dari Kolf Sorghum Oogst to a stash area. Use it as temporary foraging enrichment in a spacious scape.
Gerbils dig, gnaw, and rearrange a lot. Offer the cone as enrichment among natural materials. If the cone is pulled loose, moved, or partially destroyed, that is part of their way of exploring.
Dwarf rats and rats use their paws skillfully and can actively hold, pluck, and move the cob. It is better to give a suitable piece than too much at once, so that it truly remains an enrichment moment.
For birds, dari/sorghum is a natural variation and activity. Attach the cob securely or offer a suitable piece alongside the normal food.

Dari Kolf Sorghum Oogst is not a complete food, but a natural supplement for animals that enjoy foraging, picking, and engaging with their food. Precisely because the seeds are still attached to the cob, feeding becomes less predictable and more interesting.
With our floral and harvest products, we deliberately do not look solely at weight. These products consist of natural parts such as flowers, leaves, stems, seeds, and harvest material. As a result, the weight per bunch, cob, or box may vary slightly, while the contents are appropriately filled in terms of size and appearance.
An ear with more stem, slightly more natural residual moisture, or a different seed density may be heavier, but that does not automatically mean it looks more beautiful or more richly filled. Conversely, a lighter ear may actually have a beautiful shape, color, or natural texture. We therefore look primarily at quality, variety, and a beautiful natural presentation.
This way, you receive a natural harvest that looks good, is pleasant to use in the enclosure, and matches the character of the product. Because these are natural products, color, structure, thickness, seed density, and shape may vary slightly from harvest to harvest.
Store Dari Kolf Sorghum Oogst in a dark, dry, and well-ventilated place. Avoid damp areas and direct sunlight to preserve the color, aroma, and texture as much as possible. Close the packaging tightly after use.
No, this product is intended as a supplement and enrichment. It is particularly suitable for allowing your animal to actively forage and harvest seeds itself.
You can lay the cob down loosely, tuck it between branches or decorations, or stick it into the bedding like a small tree. This product really comes into its own, especially in hamsterscaping and gerbilscaping.
Both varieties are natural sorghum cobs. The difference lies mainly in their appearance. Red creates a warm harvest look, while black provides more contrast in a natural scape.
Dari Kolf Sorghum Harvest is especially suitable for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, rats, and birds. These animals can actively investigate the cob and detach the seeds themselves.
Dari/sorghum is not a staple food for rabbits and guinea pigs. Because it is rich in seeds, we recommend choosing hay, fiber-rich foods, and species-appropriate herbs primarily for these animals.
Because your animal has to make an effort to get to the seeds. This makes feeding less boring and stimulates natural behavior such as exploring, plucking, and gathering.
Dari/sorghum is a natural product. Color, thickness, shape, seed density, and length may vary from harvest to harvest. We therefore assess primarily based on appearance, quality, and natural presentation.
Store the harvest in a dry, dark, and well-ventilated place. Avoid moisture and direct sunlight so that the product remains as good as possible.

Geweldig!
