Are you looking for a natural harvest that your animal can really do something with? The Dari Cob Sorghum Harvest is not just a snack, but above all a fun and active way of feeding. Small rodents can pluck the seeds from the cob themselves, hold them between their paws, and harvest them step by step. This makes this harvest not only tasty, but also an interesting enrichment for the enclosure.
It is precisely this quiet, natural activity that suits animals such as mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, and rats well. You can offer the cone separately, place it among the decorations, or stick it into the bedding like a small tree. This makes eating more than just emptying a bowl of food. It becomes searching, grabbing, plucking, and discovering. And that is exactly why this product is so much fun in a naturally decorated enclosure.
In short
The Dari Cob Sorghum Harvest is a natural foraging and nibbling enrichment for small rodents. The seeds are still attached to the cob, requiring your animal to actively harvest. This provides variety, activity, and a beautiful natural presentation in the enclosure. It is also great as part of hamsterscaping or gerbilscaping. Good to know: for guinea pigs, rabbits, and chinchillas, it is better to offer this as a small extra variation rather than as a large snack.
✔ Natural harvest allowing animals to pick the seeds themselves
✔ Ideal as foraging enrichment for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, and rats
✔ Great for use in hamsterscaping and gerbilscaping
✔ Available in black or red for a natural and decorative variation
✔ Helps make feeding more interesting and less monotonous
✔ Less suitable for feeding in large quantities to herbivores such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and chinchillas
Many snacks are gone quickly. That is sometimes fine, but it offers little challenge. With a harvest product like this dari cob, feeding takes longer and there is more going on. Your animal has to loosen the seeds themselves, drag them around, or work on them in their own way. This makes this harvest product particularly interesting for owners who are not only looking for a tasty treat but also value enrichment.
For first-time owners, this is an easy way to add more natural activity without having to go to any lengths. You place or stick the flask into the enclosure, and the product does the rest. For experienced enthusiasts, it is actually fun because you can work creatively with it in a scape or foraging setup. And for price-conscious customers, it is a smart choice because a single harvested product is often used in a much more enjoyable way than a quick snack that disappears in a few minutes.
In terms of appearance, this product also fits beautifully within the DRD range. It looks natural, adds structure to the enclosure, and aligns well with a more animal-friendly way of feeding where behavior and activity take center stage. That is precisely the difference between simply giving something and truly adding something to your animal's daily life.
Composition: dari / sorghum cob.
Analysis: not specified.
Because this is a very natural harvest, the product focuses primarily on variety, texture, and foraging behavior. It is therefore not a complete food, but a nice supplement for animals that enjoy searching, plucking, and engaging with their food. Precisely because the seeds are still attached to the cob, feeding becomes less predictable and more interesting.
No. This product is intended as a supplement and enrichment. It is particularly suitable for allowing your animal to actively forage and harvest seeds itself.
You can lay the cob down loosely, tuck it between branches or decorations, or stick it into the bedding as a small tree. This product really comes into its own, especially in hamsterscaping and gerbilscaping.
Both variants are primarily a nice, natural enrichment. Many owners choose based on appearance, variety, or what fits best in their enclosure.
Especially for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, and rats. These animals use their paws skillfully and often enjoy picking the seeds off the cob themselves.
Because your animal has to make an effort to get to the seeds. This makes feeding less boring and stimulates natural behavior such as exploring, plucking, and gathering.

Geweldig!
