Good size cage, package was wrapped up well, unboxing was easy, instructions easy to download. Putting it together was easy enough for one person to do. Until it comes to attaching the cage to base. Bar space is small and suitable for dwarf hamsters. Unfortunately you can't attach platforms to the sides. The doors are sturdy and the locking mechanism has strong enough to prevent the animals from opening it themselves. I will say the paint is chipping away from the area where the bar locks into place. For the base it's 16cm adding the plexi glass it comes to 25cm. My recommendation is to have a deeper base of 30cm, the frames of the base can be plastic but the sides could be plexi glass so we can see them burrow. For the handles they are tricky to clip into place I would actually redesign the handles. Or make them slightly longer.
- Easy to put together
- While the cage is difficult to attach to the base (haven't done it yet) the base has a "guard/upper lip" to keep the cage in place so it doesn't slide everywhere.
- Strong doors prevent animals from opening them
- Cage comes by it self, no wheel, water bottle etc. This is good because it's less waste as the wheel provided could be cheap and you would have to go and get a better wheel. I use the niteangel silent wheel and platform and it fits in the door and the cage. I'm getting the extensions to raise the platform by 15cm and by my measurements the wheel will still fit inside.
- The final part of hooking the handles to the base is difficult to do. I haven't managed it so the cage is just sitting on the base.
- Base is 16cm it should be deeper adding the height of the plexi glass comes to 25cm. Hamsters need at least 20 to 30cm of depth.

het is een prachtig ruime kooi, waar mijn hamster heel blij mee is, ook de ruime klep aan de voorzijde is heel erg fijn, hij weet het al precies, ik kan er voor gaan zitten hij komt dan bij me zitten en het is heel makkelijk hem dat te aaien en verzorgen, het was nog mooier geweest als heel de boven kant open kon maar dat gaat denk ik niet met kooien van deze grote, met versturen is de bovenkant erg kwetsbaar, maar drdknaagdier doet echt zijn best het goed te verpakken en te zorgen dat het goed aan komt, wij zijn heel blij met de kooi
