Did you know that pine cones are beloved by rodents? In the wild, they love these tree fruits because they're packed with delicious pine nuts. These seeds are exceptionally rich in nutrients. In the wild, you might even observe squirrels carefully removing the pine nuts from the pine cones and devouring them.

Pine cones eventually fall from the trees, dry out, and no longer contain seeds. Once the pine cones are ready, they are collected, dried further, and cleaned so they are suitable for our rodents.
