The JR Farm Fruit Tree is a large, fruity pinecone snack for animals who enjoy searching, nibbling, and engaging with their surroundings. The filling is located between the scales of the pinecone, requiring your animal to work to get the treats out. This prolongs the snacking session and immediately turns snacking into a fun foraging activity.
At DRD, when it comes to snacks, we look not only at the taste but also at what your animal can do with them. This Fruit Tree is a good fit for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, dwarf rats, and rats that enjoy exploring, sniffing, pulling, and nibbling. Simply place the pinecone in the enclosure and let your animals discover for themselves how to get to the filling.
✔ Large natural pine cone with filled snack openings
✔ Makes snacking more active and interesting than a single snack
✔ Stimulates searching, sniffing, nibbling, and foraging
✔ Lasts longer because your animal has to work the filling out
✔ Fun as an activity in a natural setting, snack corner, or foraging zone
A snack in a bowl is often quickly found and quickly eaten. The JR Farm Fruit Tree works differently. The filling is hidden between the scales of the pine cone, requiring your pet to search, nibble, and pick to get to the treat. This keeps your pet occupied longer and turns snack time into a small challenge.
The pinecone provides structure and grip, while the fruity filling creates scent and interest. Animals that enjoy being actively engaged with their environment can derive great pleasure from this. Mice can sniff and nibble on it together, hamsters can purposefully pull pieces out, gerbils will often find the texture interesting, and rats quickly figure out where the treats are hidden.
Because the Fruit Tree is sturdy and large, this is not a snack that needs to be finished all at once. You can place it in the enclosure and let your animals play with it at their own pace. This way, you turn a snack time into a longer-lasting activity.
Simply place the JR Farm Fruit Tree in the enclosure, in a dry and stable spot. You do not need to hang it up or open it. The idea is precisely that your animals make the effort to get the stuffing from between the scales themselves. This makes snacking last longer and keeps it more interesting.
For dwarf hamsters, it can be helpful to lay the Fruit Tree flat after a while. Once the bottom has been gnawed clean, they can reach the top more easily. You can also change the position occasionally for other small animals so that the snack becomes interesting again.
Leave the Fruit Tree in the enclosure as long as it remains dry, clean, and tidy. Replace it when it has become dirty, wet, or less fresh.
Pine cone, hardwood, filling: oat flakes 59.7%, carrots, fruit including apples 4.8%, vegetable starch, coconut oil, sucrose.
Protein 10.4%, fat content 7.2%, crude fiber 2.4%, crude ash 2%, calcium 670 mg/kg, phosphorus 740 mg/kg, sodium 430 mg/kg.
The composition makes this snack particularly interesting as a combination of scent, taste, and activity. The pine cone provides a natural texture for your pet to work with, while the filling makes searching and nibbling extra appealing.
The JR Farm Fruit Tree is a supplementary snack and activity for variety in the enclosure. Give it alongside the normal basic food suitable for your animal. Because the filling is well hidden, animals are often occupied for longer than with a loose snack from a bowl.
You simply place the Fruit Tree in the enclosure in a dry, stable spot. Your animal has to make an effort to get the filling out from between the scales itself.
The filling is hidden inside the pine cone. As a result, your pet cannot eat the treat all at once, but must search, pick, and nibble. This makes the snack time longer and more active.
Yes, the Fruit Tree can be a fun foraging snack for dwarf hamsters. Once the bottom has been gnawed clean, you can lay it flat so your dwarf hamster can reach the top better.
Yes, gerbils may find the pinecone structure interesting to investigate and nibble on. Place the Fruit Tree stably in the enclosure and let them get to work with it themselves.
Yes, that is possible as long as the pine cone remains dry, clean, and tidy. Replace the snack when it has become dirty, wet, or less fresh.
With the JR Farm Fruit Tree, you give mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, dwarf rats, and rats a snack they really have to work for. A great choice for longer snack enjoyment, more activity, and natural foraging behavior in the enclosure.

Grote dennenappel blijft over.
