Product description

Bunny Nature GoVet RescueFeed (40 grams)

When a rabbit or rodent is temporarily unable to eat (enough) on its own, you want to be able to offer something quick and easy. Bunny Nature GoVet RescueFeed is a 100% natural mix that you mix into a paste with lukewarm water. You can then feed it with a syringe, for example, during recovery periods after dental surgery or when eating is temporarily difficult.

In short
  • Powder that you mix with lukewarm water to form a paste (force feeding/supplemental feeding).
  • For rabbits and rodents that are temporarily unable to eat properly.
  • With water lentil protein (essential amino acids), spirulina, inulin and lignocellulose.
  • Easy to give with a feeding syringe through the corner of the mouth.
  • Available in 40 gram packaging.

Plus points

Handy when you eat less (temporarily): you can quickly make a porridge
Energy and fiber rich composition to support intake
With water lentil protein, spirulina, inulin and lignocellulose
Easy to feed with a feeding syringe (via the corner of the mouth)
100% natural mix, suitable for an "emergency pharmacy" for small animals
Practical: prepare fresh portions and keep leftovers refrigerated (do not feed cold)

Why choose Bunny Nature GoVet RescueFeed?

For rabbits and many rodents, a consistent fiber intake is important. If eating is temporarily difficult, a supplementary feed can help them get something to eat until normal eating patterns return. RescueFeed combines a fiber-rich base (including timothy and fiber components like lignocellulose) with ingredients suitable for recovery periods: water lentil protein provides essential amino acids, and spirulina and inulin are added as supplementary components to the mix. This provides a complete, easy-to-measure feed for temporary support.

How to create and give RescueFeed

  • Mix the powder with lukewarm water until you have a smooth paste.
  • Feed directly with a feeding syringe.
  • Have your animal sit in a natural position and feed through the corner of the mouth.
  • Give small amounts slowly and give your pet time to swallow.

Nutritional advice

  • Divide the daily ration into 3–5 freshly prepared portions.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator and feed them promptly. Do not feed cold.
  • When intensive supplemental feeding is necessary, small portions every 2–4 hours are often used. Follow your veterinarian's advice and your pet's needs.

Good to know

  • Is your pet suddenly not eating, or are you noticing lethargy, pain, or abnormal stools? Contact a veterinarian to assess the cause.
  • Never feed in a hurry or “backwards”: feed calmly, in small amounts, so that your animal can swallow properly.
  • RescueFeed is intended as temporary support; at the same time, continue working on returning to the normal diet (hay/roughage as a base).

FAQ

Which animals is RescueFeed suitable for?
For rabbits and rodents that are temporarily unable to eat independently (enough), for example after an operation or when eating is difficult due to circumstances.

How do I prepare the porridge?
Mix the powder with lukewarm water until smooth. It's best to make smaller portions and mix them fresh to preserve their flavor.

How often can I feed?
Divide the daily ration into 3–5 servings. If more intensive feeding is necessary, small portions every 2–4 hours are often used. If in doubt, discuss the amount and duration with your veterinarian.

Can I save leftovers?
Yes, keep leftovers in the refrigerator and feed them promptly. Don't feed them cold: let them come to room temperature.

What is important when syringe feeding?
Have your pet sit in a natural position, feed through the corner of the mouth, and give small amounts at intervals so your pet can swallow properly. Stop if your pet is clearly stressed or choking.
