• Hamster: suitable as a herb harvest in a hamsterscaping enclosure. Especially nice to place in a natural setting as a fragrant snack spot.
• Gerbil: suitable as a foraging and nibbling challenge. Because gerbils are social animals and should be kept with other gerbils, you can carefully observe whether both animals can sit quietly by the bowl.

• Rabbit: suitable as a spicy harvest snack alongside unlimited hay and appropriate daily food. Place the pot securely in a dry place.
• Chinchilla: suitable as a spicy change of pace in small quantities. Keep the pot dry and remove it when it is messy or chewed on.
• Degu: suitable as a spicy foraging challenge in small quantities. Because degus are social animals and should be kept with other degus, offering them in a spacious area is helpful.

How do you use the Herb Harvest Pot?

Place the JR Farm Herb Harvest Pot in a dry, stable spot in the enclosure. Choose a location where your animal can easily reach it and where the pot will not easily tip over. For small animals such as mice, dwarf hamsters, and hamsters, you can optionally press the pot slightly into the bedding to ensure it stands more firmly.

For guinea pigs and rabbits, you can place the pot in the hay area or foraging corner. This way, harvesting the dill becomes part of their daily sniffing and nibbling routine. For hamsters and gerbils, the pot fits nicely into a natural setup with bedding, tunnels, herbs, and hiding places.

Give the harvest pot as a supplementary snack and not as the main food. You can offer it temporarily and remove it later, or leave it in the enclosure as long as it remains clean, dry, and tidy. With social animals, it is wise to check if everyone can participate peacefully and if the pot is not claimed by a single animal.
