The tunnel has a plastic insert to keep it straight. Bend the plastic insert into a 'C' shape and slide it into the fleece tunnel. Align the edges of the plastic insert with the folded seams of the fleece on each side. Place the pee pad (optional). To discourage nibbling, make sure the plastic insert is positioned correctly. It should not protrude beyond the edge of the membrane.

Supervise your little fluff balls while using this product. If the product becomes damaged, do not use it anymore.

Which rodents is the HayPigs Harlequin Tunnel suitable for?

Although HayPigs mainly develops products for guinea pigs, other rodents can also enjoy them. This soft tunnel is also very suitable for Rats, Chinchillas and Degus, for example. Unfortunately, the tunnel is too small for Rabbits. For Chinchillas and Degus we give a cautious warning regarding the gnawing behavior of these animals.

Washing instructions

Remove the plastic insert and wipe it clean separately. The fleece is machine washable at 30°C / 85°F (ideally in a laundry bag). Hang on the washing line or place in the sun, or on a radiator, to dry.
