The tunnel has a plastic insert to help it stand upright. Bend the plastic insert into a 'C' shape and slide it into the fleece tunnel. Line up the edges of the plastic insert with the folded seams of the fleece on each side. Insert the pee pad (optional). To discourage nibbling, make sure the plastic insert is positioned correctly. It should not extend beyond the edge of the fleece.

Supervise your little fluffballs while using this product. If the product becomes damaged, discontinue use.

Which rodents is the HayPigs Harlequin Tunnel suitable for?

Although HayPigs mainly develops products for Guinea Pigs, other rodents can also enjoy them. This soft tunnel is also very suitable for Rats, Chinchillas and Degus. Unfortunately, the tunnel is too small for Rabbits. For Chinchillas and Degus, we give a cautious warning regarding the gnawing behavior of these animals.

Washing instructions

Remove the plastic insert and wipe clean separately. The fleece is machine washable at 30°C / 85°F (ideally in a wash bag). Hang on a washing line or place in the sun, or on a radiator, to dry.
