JR Farm Cavia Schmaus is a natural, complete food mix for guinea pigs. Its base consists of a wide variety of meadow grasses and herbs (alpine foothills), supplemented with tasty ingredients like pea flakes, carob, and vegetable and floral elements. This makes it a great daily choice for owners who want to feed a varied mix.
This mix contains beetroot (3%) and parsley (3%), plus flowers such as marigold and hibiscus. It also contains added vitamin C (250 mg/kg), an important component of guinea pigs' daily diet. The crude fiber content is 18.3%: ideally, combine this food with a hay-rich diet as the basis of the diet.
