Product description

Bunny Nature Health Pro Dental 800 grams

Does your rabbit have an incomplete set of teeth or are there (recurring) dental problems that sometimes make eating just a little more difficult? Bunny Nature Health Pro Dental is a complete pet food for adult rabbits with an adapted pellet size. The composition is based on herb-rich grassland and fiber-rich ingredients, so you can provide a complete daily diet that is often well-received in practice.

In short
  • Complete feed for adult rabbits .
  • Adjusted pellet size for rabbits with an incomplete set of teeth or dental problems.
  • Fiber-rich base with herb-rich grassland, including duckweed protein, spirulina, and inulin.
  • Dosage guideline: approx. 60 g per day for 1.5 kg body weight (depending on activity).

Pros

Complete daily food for adult rabbits
Adjusted pellet size for rabbits that have difficulty chewing
Fiber-rich base with herb-rich grassland as a starting point
With spirulina and inulin as extra components in the mix
Useful for rabbits that are becoming pickier or stop eating sooner
Practical to combine with high-quality hay and greens

Why choose Pro Dental?

Dental problems can alter the way rabbits eat and chew. Pro Dental has been developed with an adjusted pellet size to make it more palatable for many rabbits when their teeth are not (or no longer) fully developed. At the same time, hay remains the basis of the diet: it supports the natural eating pattern and provides plenty of structure to the day. You use Pro Dental as a complete pellet food alongside plenty of hay, optionally supplemented with suitable vegetables and herbs, depending on what your rabbit is used to and what works well.

Feed advice

  • Guideline: for a rabbit of approx. 1,500 g, the average amount of food is 60 g per day .
  • This is a guideline based on the higher energy content; adjust the amount based on activity, fitness level, and needs.
  • Provide high-quality hay and fresh (lukewarm) water daily.

Practical tips for rabbits with sensitive teeth

  • Keep a close eye on eating behavior: does your rabbit continue to eat, poop, and remain active?
  • Combine with different types of hay and offer it in multiple places (rack + plucking area).
  • Do you notice a wet chin, messing around with food, fewer droppings, or clear weight loss? Have the teeth checked in a timely manner by a veterinarian specializing in rodents.

FAQ

For which rabbits is Pro Dental intended?
For adult rabbits, especially for rabbits with an incomplete set of teeth or (recurrent) dental problems.

Is this food complete or a supplement?
This is a complete feed. You feed it as daily pellets alongside unlimited hay and water.

How much should I feed per day?
As a guideline, 60 g per day applies for a body weight of 1.5 kg. Adjust this based on activity, condition, and the total food you provide otherwise.

My rabbit is really having trouble eating, what should I do?
If eating or defecating clearly decreases, or you notice weight loss, it is wise to consult your veterinarian quickly. With dental problems, the rate of deterioration can sometimes be surprisingly rapid.
