Corbo User Manual

This bedding is excellent as a true bedding material. Tunnels might not hold up as well, but the bedding itself covers the ground perfectly. This is especially useful for small rodents that like to dig and urinate on the bottom of their enclosure.

Corbo as underlay for small rodents (Mouse, Dwarf Hamster, Hamster, Gerbil)
For small rodents, Corbo can be ideally used as an underlay that protects the floor of the enclosure. Gerbils, in particular, sometimes tend to completely burrow into standard bedding and then urinate on the floor of the enclosure. Thanks to an underlay, this can be prevented. Corbo is not suitable as standard bedding for these small rodents because, unfortunately, Corbo is not diggable, and the animals are therefore unable to exhibit their natural behavior.

Corbo as bedding for large rodents (Rat, Guinea Pig, Rabbit, Chinchilla, Degu)
Fill the enclosure until the bottom is completely covered with Corbo. The layer should be at least 5 cm thick so that the bedding covers the bottom of the enclosure well and can absorb effectively.

Corbo as toilet filler for rodents and rabbits
Thanks to its pleasant granule shape and excellent absorption, Corbo is one of the best litter fillings available. A particularly significant advantage is that the animals' urine does not run down the granules but is absorbed immediately. As a result, the litter box remains cleaner than with many other litter fillings. Corbo is suitable as a litter filling for all rodents and rabbits.

Corbo for the Rat & Mouse
Although Corbo generally absorbs very well and retains odors, we must truly praise this bedding to the skies when it comes to the odors of mice and rats. Both mice and rats have a fairly strong urine smell, which is detectable quite quickly in most bedding. However, Corbo manages to retain odors exceptionally well. We therefore recommend using Corbo, especially in the litter box for rats.
