For which animals is the JR Farm Grass Maze suitable?

• Rat: suitable as a playful search and foraging course. Rats are smart animals and can get a lot of enjoyment out of routes, hiding places, and small rewards. For rats, primarily use suitable snacks or foraging mix, and preferably offer the maze as a temporary play session.
• Guinea pig: very suitable as a large foraging maze. Because guinea pigs are social animals and should be kept with other guinea pigs, you can fill multiple sections so that the group can search peacefully.
• Rabbit: suitable as a large play and foraging course in the run or paddock. Due to the openings of approx. 18 cm, it is particularly suitable for smaller to medium-sized rabbits; for larger rabbits, always consider build and intended use.
• Chinchilla: suitable as a temporary search and exercise course in a dry, stable location. Use small, appropriate rewards and remove the maze when it is being chewed on too much.
• Degu: suitable as an active foraging course. Because degus are social animals and should be kept with other degus, it is good to distribute snacks in multiple locations.

Due to its large size, this maze is less suitable for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, and gerbils. For these animals, it is preferable to choose smaller tunnels, houses, or foraging toys that are better suited to their size and enclosure.

How do you use the grass maze?

Assemble the panels into a maze or play course. You can create straight sections, curves, squares, and passages. Then, place small snacks, herbs, pieces of vegetables, or other suitable rewards at various spots in the maze.
