These nice branches with whole cotton balls can be used as decoration for hamster scapes, but also as nesting material. In the latter case, the small rodents have to pick apart the cotton balls themselves to make a nest. The branch is supplied complete with 6 whole cotton balls of 3-4 cm.

The branches of the cotton plant are quite sturdy, so mice can even climb into them if you secure the branch properly in the enclosure.

Nice did you know about cotton rats < Cotton rats (Sigmodon) are a genus of South American rodents of the subfamily Sigmodontinae. It is the only genus of the tribus Sigmodontini. The cotton rat eats parts of the cotton plant, among other things, and the soft material likes to be taken to the burrow!
