For mice and rats, the hanging tunnel may be hung higher in the enclosure. Mice and rats are good climbers and like to sleep at the top of the enclosure. Make sure that any fall is always broken.
For Dwarf hamsters and hamsters, the hammock should be hung a little lower, these animals cannot climb very well and do not see depth. An exception to this is the Chinese Dwarf Hamster, which can climb better.
We even indicate that this is also suitable for Degus, provided they don't gnaw at the material, because that would be a shame :)
