Product description

JR Farm Back to Instinct Fun Park for Rodents & Rabbits

JR Farm Back to Instinct Fun-Park is a natural play and foraging park for rodents and rabbits. The park combines nibbling, searching, sniffing, and discovering in one product. As a result, it is a fun enrichment for animals that enjoy being actively engaged with their food and environment.

You can choose from two versions: Fun-Park and XXL Fun-Park. The regular Fun-Park variant is more compact and contains snack drops and nibble balls in addition to the natural base. The XXL Fun-Park variant is larger and more spacious, with extra texture, carrots, willow, and flowers to discover.

Use the Fun-Park as a temporary playtime, foraging area, or snack activity. Your pet can sniff it, explore the compartments, search for small rewards, and nibble on the natural parts. This way, you instantly turn a snack time into an activity.

Pros of JR Farm Back to Instinct Fun-Park

Toy and additional snack activity in one
Challenges your animal to search and forage
Made with natural plant-based materials
Available in a compact and extra-large variant
Fun for rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, gerbils, hamsters, and other rodents

Which variant suits your pet?

Choose the variant based on the animal species, the available space, and how actively your animal engages with foraging toys. The standard Fun-Park variant is compact and fun as a smaller search park. The XXL Fun-Park variant offers more surface area and is therefore suitable for animals that like to search longer and use more space.

Variant Format Weight Often goes well with
Fun Park 18 x 28 x 5 cm 275 grams Hamsters, dwarf hamsters, mice, rats, gerbils, and smaller foraging moments for rabbits and guinea pigs
XXL Fun Park 38 x 28 x 6.5 cm 430 grams Rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, degus, and animals that like to explore and discover more widely

Why choose JR Farm Back to Instinct Fun-Park?

Many rodents and rabbits naturally spend a lot of time searching for edible plant parts, nibbling, and exploring their surroundings. In an enclosure, you can support this behavior by not always offering food and snacks ready-made in a bowl, but by turning it into a brief foraging moment.

JR Farm Back to Instinct Fun-Park helps with this. The various compartments, textures, and snack elements ensure that your animal has to actively sniff and search. This makes the product fun as an alternative to regular food and hay.

The regular Fun-Park variant is extra playful thanks to the combination of a natural base, snack drops, and nibble balls. The XXL Fun-Park variant is larger and more spacious, containing, among other things, pea flakes, carrot flakes, willow, rose blossom, marigold, and cornflower. This makes the XXL version particularly interesting for animals that require a bit more space while foraging.

Use the Fun-Park as temporary enrichment. You can place it in the enclosure or offer it separately during playtime. This keeps the product interesting and allows you to keep a close eye on how much your animal uses of it.

For which animals is the Fun-Park suitable?

JR Farm Back to Instinct Fun-Park is suitable as supplementary enrichment for rabbits and various rodents. Adjust the variant and the quantity of snack items to the animal species and the normal feeding pattern.

  • Rabbits: the XXL variant in particular is fun as a foraging park and nibbling activity.
  • Guinea pigs: suitable as a temporary foraging and snacking activity, especially the XXL variant.
  • Hamsters and dwarf hamsters: the standard Fun-Park variant is fun as a place to discover and forage.
  • Mice: suitable as a small discovery area for sniffing and searching.
  • Gerbils: fun as a nibbling and foraging activity in a spacious enclosure.
  • Rats and pygmy rats: suitable as a playful scavenger hunt and snack activity.
  • Degus and chinchillas: use deliberately as short-term enrichment and align the snack components with the normal feeding pattern.

Use & offer

Place the Fun-Park on a dry, stable spot. Let your animal calmly discover where the scents, snacks, and interesting textures are located. You can place the product temporarily in the enclosure or offer it separately during playtime.

Do you want to further encourage foraging? Then hide a few small, suitable snacks, herbs, or pieces of hay between the compartments. This way, your animal has to search, making the snacking time longer and more active.

Check the Fun-Park regularly during use. Remove wet or soiled parts and clean up snack residue when it is no longer fresh. Replace the product if it is heavily chewed or no longer stays clean.

How long does one Fun Park last?

The usage time depends on the animal species, the number of animals, and how intensively your animal engages with it. Some animals use it primarily as a search game, while others are quicker to nibble on the parts.

Variant Usage Practical guideline
Fun Park Compact search and snack park Multiple play sessions, depending on nibbling behavior
XXL Fun Park Larger foraging and discovery park Often suitable for longer or extended play sessions

This is a practical guideline. Use the Fun-Park as enrichment and a supplementary snack activity alongside appropriate main feed and hay.

Good to know

  • Present the Fun Park dry and check regularly for contamination.
  • Use it as a temporary playtime or foraging activity.
  • Adjust the amount of snack components to the animal species and the normal feeding pattern.
