Looking for a natural feed mix without pellets, with plenty to see, smell, and explore? JR Farm Natural Guinea Pig Food without Pellets is a herb-rich texture mix based on alpine meadow grasses, vegetables, and flowers. The variety of shapes and textures also makes it a great choice for foraging.
The 2 kg bag is especially handy if you have multiple guinea pigs, like to keep a supply on hand, or simply want to order less frequently. Hay is always the foundation: offer it in unlimited quantities and refresh it regularly. Combine this product with fresh drinking water and daily vegetables (preferably ones rich in vitamin C) for a complete daily menu.
Guinea pigs are real nibblers and love to search for different particles. A textured mix with grasses, herbs, and vegetables is well-suited to their natural searching and nibbling behavior. You can also combine it nicely with hay by mixing a small amount into the hay or scattering it in a foraging area.
Provide a daily portion that matches their overall diet (hay intake, vegetables, and activity). Many owners find it helpful to weigh the food, making it easy to monitor appetite and condition. As a practical starting point, you can often start with approximately 30–50 g per day for adult guinea pigs and adjust accordingly.
| Situation | Daily portion |

| 2 guinea pigs together | ± 60–100 g per day |

Yes, you can incorporate this into your daily routine. Adjust the amount based on hay intake, vegetables, and condition, and preferably weigh it for insight.
Distribute some of the ration across several areas in the enclosure or mix a small portion into the hay. This will keep guinea pigs engaged in searching and nibbling for longer.

Mijn cavia’s hadden eerst gemixt voer.
