Product description

Mr. Crumble Rabbit Herbs Mommel Mix 250 grams – foraging mix with herbs, vegetables & flowers

The Mr. Crumble Rabbit Herb Mommel Mix is a varied, supplementary herb and vegetable mix for rabbits and other herbivores. Use this mix as a forage topping on hay or sprinkled throughout the enclosure, keeping your pet occupied for longer periods of time sniffing, searching, and peacefully nibbling. The mix of leaves, stems, flowers, and seeds makes it easy to add variety to their daily diet.

Nutrition in brief
  • Supplementary: intended as a variation in addition to unlimited hay, water, vegetables and staple food.
  • Perfect for foraging: sprinkle through the hay or enclosure.
  • 53/35/12 division: 48% leaves/stems/herbs + 5% vegetables = 53%, 34% vegetables + 3% fruit = 37% (practically: vegetables/fruit together as “vegetables & fruit”), 9% flowers + 6% seeds.
  • Suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus, among others.
Contents: 250 grams

Plus points

Lots of fibre-rich parts (leaves, stems and herbs) for nice long nibbling.
Vegetables and a small amount of fruit for extra variety in taste and texture.
A flower mix (including marigold, hibiscus and blue cornflower) makes it extra attractive.
With seeds (including linseed, milk thistle, sunflower, fennel) as a tasty “crunch”.
Handy as a foraging mix: ideal for "scatter food" moments in a scape or sniffing corner.

FAQ

Is the Mommel Mix a complete food?
No, this is a supplementary forage mix. Use it as a supplement alongside unlimited hay, daily vegetables, and a suitable staple food.

Which animals is this mix suitable for?
This mix is especially intended for herbivorous rodents and rabbits, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus.

How do I best give this?
Sprinkle small portions through hay or divide it into several spots. This way, it becomes a real foraging activity instead of "eating it all at once."

My pet mainly eats the fruits and vegetables. What now?
Give smaller portions and mix them thoroughly with hay. You can also create several small "searching spots" to make it last longer.
