Product description

Mixerama Bremerlands 'low carb' Campbelli Mix

This grain-free Mixerama Natural Food for Campbell's Dwarf Hamsters is a complete food and is low in carbohydrates. The low-carbohydrate recipe relieves the metabolism, which is why this staple food is particularly suitable for dwarf hamsters that already have diabetes or as a diet food. This mixture contains 72% oilseeds, 20% farin-containing seeds, 4% animal proteins and 4% flowers and herbs.

The Campbell dwarf hamster lives in the wild in the arid semi-deserts and steppe regions of Mongolia and northeastern China. For this reason, this lean mixture is low in carbohydrates (grain) as they do not occur in natural habitats. Accordingly, the Campbell's organism is not designed to utilize carbohydrates.

A grain that is widely used in the Campbelli diet is the very starchy millet. Millet (starch) is converted into glucose (sugar) in the body and is therefore not good for the Campbell, which should be fed sugar-free. However, every organism needs a small amount of carbohydrates to function properly.

This mixture is based on the natural habitat of the Campbell dwarf hamster. It contains seeds from natural vegetation. The low-carbohydrate recipe relieves the metabolism and is therefore particularly suitable for dwarf hamsters that already have diabetes and for use as a diet food.
