DRD Knaagdierwinkel ® Apple Cubes are tasty fruit cubes with the recognizable scent and taste of apple. They are intended as a small treat for rodents and rabbits that may occasionally have something fruity. Thanks to the convenient cube size, you can easily portion them and use them as a reward or forage extra.
Fruit is tasty and many animals find apples very appealing, but it remains a snack. Therefore, give apple chunks consciously and in small quantities alongside the normal main food. You can give them straight from your hand, mix them with a spice blend, or hide them in a snack bowl so that your animal has to actively search for them.
✔ Tasty fruit reward: apple is an attractive taste for many rodents and rabbits.
✔ Easy to dose: the cube format makes it easy to give a small amount.
✔ Great for foraging: hide a few cubes among hay, herbs, or in a snack plate.
✔ Nice variety: suitable when you want to give something fruity occasionally alongside the daily diet.
✔ Also handy as a reward: great to use during interaction moments or as a small treat held by hand.
Apple is a well-known and beloved flavor among many animals. These apple cubes are handy when you want to give a small fruit snack without having to cut fresh apple every time. The cubes are easy to store, quick to grab, and great for use in a snack mix or foraging game.
Because this snack contains fruit and sugar, moderation is important. It is better to give a small square occasionally than multiple pieces daily. This way, it truly remains a treat and you keep the daily diet properly balanced.
Give apple cubes as a supplementary snack alongside the normal main food. Start with a small amount, especially if your pet is not yet used to fruit or sweeter snacks. For small animals, you can make a cube smaller if necessary.
You can give the cubes loose by hand, mix them into a herb mix, or use them in aforaging toy . This also works well mixed in hay or herbs : your animal then has to sniff and search before finding the snack.
Composition: dried apple 50.79%, sugar 48%.
Due to its composition, this product is primarily intended as a tasty treat. It is not a staple food, nor is it a daily basis. Use Apple Cubes consciously as a small extra alongside a species-specific diet.
