A run is great fun for rodents! In a run, animals can roam freely and explore. This Trixie Rodent Run is cheerfully colored and, thanks to the small bar spacing, suitable for small rodents, such as: Dwarf hamsters , Hamsters , but also for Guinea pigs . The latter are not small rodents, but can use the run.

Which animals is this run suitable for?
The run can be used in different ways for different animals. In all cases it is important to keep the natural behavior of the animals in mind. For example, mice are excellent climbers and will want to climb out of the enclosure almost immediately. That is why we do not initially recommend this run for mice and for the same reason also not for gerbils. It will be a challenge to keep this within reach. However, we also have a tip for that! For a better seal at the bottom of the run, we recommend using a bottom cover. It is this: Bottom cover for rodent run . However, this bottom cover can also be used in a different way. Place the bottom cover under the run and then turn the run upside down so that the bottom cover is on top. This creates a cover on the run so that animals can no longer escape! Nice to know that the lid also provides an extra feeling of security. The run can also be used for guinea pigs, but this run is quite small for guinea pigs, a spacious rabbit run is better for guinea pigs. It is important to always keep an eye on the animals when they are walking around in the enclosure. Always use the run under supervision.

Does the run need to be filled with toys or can it remain empty?
It depends somewhat on which animal the run is used for, but in all cases we recommend adding at least one shelter for the animals. Rodents such as mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters and also guinea pigs are prey animals and like to be able to hide. The animals often find open and new places a bit scary, especially in the beginning. By offering a shelter in the form of a house, the animals will start to feel more at ease. Make sure that you do not place the house too close to the walls of the run to prevent escape through the house.

De ren is vrolijk van kleur. Ik heb er 2 stuks besteld het zijn losse paneeltjes dus je kunt de kleurtjes wisselen. Wel jammer en ook raar bij allebei de rennen is het witte paneel flink beschadigd en zeer scherp. Ik heb ze verwijderd, zodat de hamster zich niet kan verwonden. Niet erg diervriendelijk!

Mooie ren. Fijn dat het niet aan elkaar vast zit (je kan het zelf vast en los maken). Zo kan het ook niet stuk gaan bij het opvouwen. Ben er erg blij mee.

Helaas heeft een van mijn hamsters ontdekt hoe ze eruit kan klimmen, en dat gaat ook gewoon via de verticale spijlen. Het product is verder in orde, maar het moet veel hoger.

Super ren! Lekker compact, waardoor hij erg gemakkelijk op te bergen is en erg makkelijk weer op te zetten. Het formaat is perfect voor een dwerghamster! Een echte aanrader!

Deze ren heb ik ook voor mijn hamster. Ik vind m super fijn, met name met de bodemhoes erbij kun je je hamster gerust in de ren laten rondlopen. De spijlen zijn inderdaad heel dicht op elkaar, daar niks tussendoor kruipen :)

ik heb hem net gekocht en ben er nu al super blij mee. Ook de hamster is erg blij.Als ik de ren pak zit ze al klaar op haar vaste plek. Hij is erg groot en is handig op te bergen. Ook heb ik de hoes erbij genomen. Echt ideaal. Geen vlekken meer op de vloer! Echt een super ding!!!!.

Ik heb de ren een paar jaar geleden een keer in de aanbieding gekocht toen ik mijn eerste hamster had. Een jaar of 2 geleden een keer de hoes toen ik ontdekte dat die te koop waren. Echt een super ding, zowel de ren als de hoes! Heb er leuke speeltjes in staan, wat voer en water en zo'n soort konijnenhok voor buiten met zo'n klep aan de bovenkant, maar dan in het klein voor hamsters (dient meer als een groot huis en niet om de hamster it te houden), je kunt het zo opruimen, geen natte plekken meer in de vloerbedekking. En Logie Bear heeft alle ruimte om even leuk te spelen.
