This beautiful tree trunk offers small rodents an extra hiding place and an extra challenge to clamber and climb. Made of resin, it's very strong and easy to clean. Unlike wood, this tree trunk can be rinsed in water. The open base offers a major advantage: it allows for plenty of ventilation and prevents the sleeping area from becoming stuffy. Synthetic resin is similar to plastic, but much harder. It's a truly hard material. Rodents don't like gnawing on this material and therefore leave it alone. This makes polystyrene rodent-proof.
TIP! Polystyrene is best cleaned with lukewarm water only.
