For which animals are Harry Hamster Yippees suitable?

Supreme Harry Hamster Yippees are suitable as a supplementary treat for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, dwarf rats, rats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. The stick shape makes it easy to portion the snack and use it as a reward, hand snack, or foraging treat.

  • Mouse: suitable as a small treat. One Yippee can already be a fun snack; you can also break it into pieces and hide them scattered around.
  • Dwarf hamster: suitable as an occasional snack. The stick shape makes it easy to give a suitable piece or hide it in the bedding.
  • Hamster: suitable as a crunchy reward or foraging snack. Also fun to hide in a hamsterscape, so your hamster can actively search.
  • Gerbil: suitable as a crunchy treat. Gerbils are active foragers, so hiding a Yippee or a piece of it among bedding, tunnels, or natural decor works very well.
  • Dwarf rat: suitable as a small reward. Adjust the portion to the actual size and build of your dwarf rat, as dwarf rats can vary from one another.
  • Rat: suitable as a snack, reward, or training moment. Rats can also actively search for the Yippees in a snuffle mat, food puzzle, or Ratscaping setup.
  • Guinea pig: suitable as a small treat alongside hay, guinea pig food, and vegetables. Give consciously as a treat and use the Yippees, for example, by hand or as a small search moment among the hay.
  • Rabbit: suitable as a small treat alongside hay and appropriate rabbit food. The sticks are fun as a reward, a hand snack, or as a small surprise in a foraging area.

For chinchillas and degus, we prefer simple herbs, leaves, flowers, hay, or fiber-rich snacks that fit even better into their daily feeding routine.

How do you use Supreme Harry Hamster Yippees?

Give Harry Hamster Yippees as a supplementary snack alongside normal food. Supreme recommends 1–2 treats per day, depending on the size of your pet. For small animals, you can also break one Yippee into pieces and offer them spread out.

You can use the Yippees in various ways:

  • out of control, as a calm moment of contact or reward;
  • hidden in pieces in the bedding;
  • on a snack board or in a food puzzle;
  • in a sniffing mat for guinea pigs, rabbits, dwarf rats or rats;
  • as a small change alongside other suitable snacks.

For hamsters and gerbils, it is helpful to check occasionally that snack remnants remain tidy when your pet likes to hoard. For mice, dwarf rats, and rats, you can distribute the Yippees nicely across multiple feeding spots so that several animals can forage at the same time.
