Do the JR Farm Strawberry Block help to wear down the teeth?
Yes, thanks to the hard structure, the hearts help to wear down rodent teeth. The animals have to gnaw on it hard, which wears out the teeth. A nice side effect is that the animals take a longer time to nibble on a heart compared to soft snacks.
Can this snack be used as food fortification?
Yes, you can! Hide a heart somewhere in the enclosure or in a challenging place and let the animal look for it. For guinea pigs and rabbits it can also be fun to hide the hearts between the hay or in a sniffing mat .
