JR Farm Hooihuis Bloemen is a natural shelter and chew house for rodents and rabbits. The house is made with mountain meadow hay, lignocellulose, plant starch, and a cheerful floral topping with rose blossoms, cornflower, and marigold. This provides your pet with a sheltered spot to crawl into, as well as something fun to sniff, pull, and nibble on.
This floral variant is especially attractive to animals that are intrigued by fragrant blossoms and natural textures. You can place the hay house separately in the enclosure, partially incorporate it into the bedding, or combine it with some hay and herbs around the entrance. This way, the little house immediately becomes part of daily exploration and foraging.
You can choose from three sizes: small, medium, and large. The small version is a nice fit for small rodents such as hamsters, dwarf hamsters, and mice. The medium version is suitable for animals such as guinea pigs and degus. The large version offers more space and is therefore suitable for larger rodents and rabbits, depending on the size of your animal.

A nice shelter gives your pet a place to retreat for a while. This is especially pleasant for animals that like shelter, such as hamsters, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, degus, rats, and rabbits. JR Farm Hooihuis Bloemen combines that shelter with natural materials and a floral topping.
The floral topping makes this hay house extra fun to explore. Rose blossoms, cornflowers, and marigolds add color and fragrance to the top of the little house. This invites your pet to sniff, nibble, and quietly investigate the house.
You can place the hay house loosely in the enclosure, partially nestled among the bedding, or use it as part of a natural setup. For extra foraging fun, you can place a small amount of hay or suitable herbs around the entrance. This way, the little house immediately becomes part of the daily sniffing and searching.
Because JR Farm Hooihuis Bloemen is also a complementary food, it does not replace main feed or daily hay. View it primarily as natural enrichment: a hiding place, nibbling area, and discovery spot all in one.
JR Farm Hooihuis Bloemen is suitable as natural enrichment for rodents and rabbits. Choose the size that suits the animal and the enclosure.
Place the hay house in a dry spot in the enclosure. Set it down firmly so that your animal can easily get in and out. For animals that like to dig, you can partially incorporate the house into the bedding for a natural look.
Do you want to turn it into a foraging moment? Then place some hay or suitable herbs around the entrance. Your animal will then have to sniff and search, making the little house even more interesting.
Inspect the hay house regularly during use. Remove loose, wet, or dirty debris to keep the enclosure fresh. If the house has been heavily gnawed on or no longer stays tidy, you can replace it.
The lifespan depends mainly on the animal species and how enthusiastically your animal nibbles on it. Some animals use the hay house primarily as a hiding place, while others are quicker to gnaw on the edges or the flower topping.
