A hamster lived in a hole among the straw. Not in a dirty, wet hole, filled with trash and smelling of mud and damp. Not even in a bare gravel hole, where there was nothing to store supplies or build a cozy nest: it was a ʄʋʀɬɨɴɡ hole, and that meant fun.
