The Active Carpet is easy to use. You can hide the included JR Grainless Drops between the hemp fibers. The deeper you hide the snack, the more difficult it becomes for your pet. Start easy and gradually build up the challenge.

• Remove the Active Carpet from the packaging and remove the protective film;
• hide a few drops or suitable snack pieces between the hemp fibers;
• Place the mat securely in the enclosure or on a safe play area;
• Let your animal search and sniff calmly;
• refill when all snacks have been found;
• Check the mat regularly and remove residue when it becomes dirty or damp.

Use the mat as a short activity and adjust the snack amount to your animal. For small animals, small pieces are often sufficient. For animals that like to destroy things or collect nesting material, the mat can also be used for gnawing or pulling material loose. This is part of the natural character of this product; therefore, offer the mat appropriately and under control.

Good to know

The Active Carpet is made of natural materials and is intended as a foraging activity. According to JR Farm, the hemp mat inside the natural fiber tray may be gnawed and the tray may be eaten. However, check the product regularly, especially with animals that like to destroy, dig, or take material to the nest. Remove the mat if it is dirty, wet, or severely torn apart.

The outer walls of the current version are no longer sprinkled with hay. This may differ from older product photos or previous product information.
