JR Farm Bosgeheim is a natural supplementary forest mix for rodents and dwarf rabbits. The mix contains 40% birch leaf, hazel leaf, nettle root, and hazel wood. This makes it a wonderfully rough, fragrant mix for animals that love to sniff, search, nibble, and play with natural materials.
This mix truly feels like a little piece of forest in the enclosure. The leaves provide scent and texture, the roots ensure extra variety, and the hazelwood invites nibbling. You can offer JR Farm Bosgeheim separately, mix it with hay, or use it in a foraging corner. This way, you immediately turn a small snack time into a fun discovery activity.
The package contains 100 grams. Because this is complementary food, you should feed small amounts. At 1 gram per day, one package lasts approximately 100 days. At 2 grams per day, that is approximately 50 days.
✔ Natural forest mix with leaf, root, and wood
✔ With birch leaf, hazel leaf and hazel wood
✔ Wonderful to use as a sniffing and foraging mix
✔ Provides extra structure and variety during the stay
✔ Practical 100-gram packaging for alternating use
This is the kind of mix that immediately adds atmosphere to the enclosure. JR Farm Bosgeheim does not consist of standard snack pieces, but of natural plant parts reminiscent of a forest floor: leaves, roots, and pieces of hazel wood. This makes the mix fun for animals that like to explore with their noses, snouts, and teeth.
Birch leaf makes up the largest part of the composition at 40%. Hazel leaf provides extra leaf structure, nettle root offers variety, and hazel wood makes the mix interesting to nibble on. This is a great choice, especially for owners who like to offer more natural enrichment.
You can mix a small tuft into the hay, scatter it between the bedding, or place it in a sniffing area. For rabbits and guinea pigs, it makes hay time more interesting. For hamsters, dwarf hamsters, mice, and gerbils, it can become a fun place to discover nestled between tunnels, cork, or a digging area.
Because JR Farm Bosgeheim is complementary food, you do not feed it as the main food. Think of it as a natural extra for scent, texture, and activity. This forest mix really comes into its own in small quantities.
JR Farm Bosgeheim is suitable as a supplementary mix for dwarf rabbits and various rodents. Always adjust the quantity to the animal species, size, and normal feeding pattern.
Give JR Farm Bosgeheim as a supplementary snack and foraging mix. Sprinkle a small amount over the hay, place a small tuft in a sniffing area, or offer it in a separate foraging corner. For small animals, a small tuft is often sufficient. For larger animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs, you can dose a little more generously, but keep it supplementary.
Do you want to use it for foraging? Then distribute small amounts in different places in the enclosure. This way, your animal has to search, and the mix is not eaten all at once from a bowl.
Check for residues regularly and remove any material that has become damp or dirty. This keeps the enclosure fresh and tidy.
JR Farm Bosgeheim contains 100 grams. The duration of use depends on how much you give at a time. Because this is complementary food, small amounts are usually sufficient.
| Usage | Amount per day | Use per package |
|---|---|---|
| Economical use | 1 gram per day | about 100 days |
| Average snack consumption | 2 grams per day | about 50 days |
| Wider foraging time | 5 grams per day | about 20 days |
This is a practical guideline. Give this mix as a supplement, not as a replacement for main feed or hay.
Birch leaf 40%, hazel leaf, nettle root, hazel wood.
Crude protein 11.4%, crude fat 3.4%, crude fiber 25.4%, crude ash 4.9%, calcium 10,190 mg/kg, phosphorus 1,830 mg/kg, sodium 190 mg/kg.
The composition is pure and woody: plenty of leaves, supplemented with roots and hazelwood. The 25.4% crude fiber pairs well with dried leaves and woody plant parts. As a result, JR Farm Bosgeheim is particularly interesting as a natural enrichment and forage mix.
The hazel wood provides extra gnawing texture, while birch and hazel leaves ensure scent and variety. Just a little bit mixed into the hay or in a sniffing spot is enough to make the enclosure just a bit more exciting.
