I personally don’t think this feed is good to substitute with pellets just because I think it’s a bit too “exciting” to be healthy, pellets are hay based and these seem to be vegetable based, but my chinchillas do love this stuff and they do get a piece everyday as a little treat because they go really crazy for Beaphar. I think it’s great for their teeth too!
