Which flavour will you choose?
All varieties have a similar biscuit base. The main difference lies in the added ingredients. This makes it easy to choose a flavour that suits your pet’s preferences.
- Apple: a fruity variety with 5% apple.
- Banana: a biscuit with 2% banana for a mild, fruity flavour.
- Fruit: a blend including hawthorn berries, sloe berries, rosehip peel and elderberries. The total fruit content is 8%.
- Herbs: an aromatic combination of thyme, rosemary, lemon balm and peppermint leaves, with a total herb content of 6%.
- Parsley: a savoury herbal variety with 10% parsley.
The herb and parsley varieties also contain grains and fruit pomace in their base. The flavour name tells you which ingredient makes each variety distinctive. You can find the full ingredient lists below.
Which animals are they suitable for?
Crunchy Cracker are suitable as a small treat for mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, dwarf rats, rats, guinea pigs and rabbits. Offer them as a little extra alongside daily food and adjust the portion to your pet’s size and weight.
For a small rodent, you can offer a piece of a biscuit. This makes it easy to give a modest snack portion and save the rest for another time. For guinea pigs and rabbits, a biscuit provides occasional variety alongside their daily hay, suitable food and greens.
How do you feed Crunchy Cracker?
The general feeding guide is 1 to 2 biscuits per day, depending on the animal’s size and weight. Adjust the amount to your pet: a small rodent receives a smaller portion than a larger animal. You can divide a biscuit into pieces to offer a small amount.
- Offer a piece by hand during a quiet moment with your pet.
- Place the chosen portion in the food bowl so you can keep track of how much you offer.
- Include other treats when considering the total amount of extras for the day.
- Always provide fresh drinking water.
For animals living together, you can offer their portions separately. This helps you see whether each animal gets its own piece. Offer the biscuits in a dry, clean spot.
