Product description

Parsley & Millet Christmas Tree – a Christmas tree to nibble

The Parsley & Millet Christmas Tree gives your small rodent a festive treat for the Christmas season. This crunchy snack is shaped like a Christmas tree and contains ingredients including parsley, yellow millet, manna millet, apple, coconut and lingonberry. Lovely to explore, nibble and offer as a little Christmas surprise.

The recognisable tree shape also looks lovely in a winter-themed enclosure. While you enjoy the festive scene, your pet can investigate and nibble little bites from the tree. This gives the Christmas decoration a tasty purpose too.

A festive nibbling moment

A Christmas gift for your pet does not have to be complicated. This Christmas tree combines a cheerful shape with different ingredients in one firm snack. Parsley gives the tree its herbal character, while the millet and fruit ingredients add other flavours. That gives your pet something to discover as they nibble.

The main difference compared with loose seeds or herbs is how the treat is presented. The ingredients are formed into a firm tree shape that your pet can nibble small bites from. This makes it a lovely occasional treat, giving you a chance to watch your pet investigate their Christmas tree.

Which animals is this Christmas tree intended for?

We offer this Christmas treat with millet, wheat and fruit for small rodents such as mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, gerbils, dwarf rats and rats. Offer the tree as an extra treat alongside their daily diet, adjusting the nibbling session to your pet’s size and appetite.

The pack contains 140 g. This is the weight of the whole product, rather than a portion for one sitting. For smaller animals in particular, it is practical to offer the tree for a short nibbling session and then put it away again. This lets you offer the same treat on several occasions.

How do you offer the Christmas tree?

Place the Christmas tree somewhere clean, dry and easy to reach. A low, stable platform is a practical option: it keeps the snack visible and makes it easy to check how much has been eaten afterwards. The tree does not need to stand upright; you can lay it flat too.

  • Offer the Christmas tree as an extra treat alongside your pet’s usual food.
  • Let your pet investigate the snack calmly and take little bites at their own pace.
  • Remove the tree after the nibbling session if you want to spread the amount over several occasions.
  • Store the remaining part somewhere dry and cool for next time.
  • Always provide fresh drinking water.

How long the Christmas tree lasts depends on the animal and each nibbling session. Some pets start nibbling straight away, while others spend time sniffing first. There is therefore no fixed number of days that this treat will last.

Good to know

This Christmas tree is lactose-free and contains no added sugar. It does contain fruit ingredients, including apple and lingonberry. “No added sugar” therefore does not mean that the snack contains no naturally occurring sugars. Offer it mindfully as an extra treat.

Store the Christmas tree somewhere dry and cool. Check a previously offered tree before giving it again, and only offer parts that are clean and dry.
