Product description

Rodent Grocer® 13 Types of Leaf Mix Coarse – premium leaf mix in paper

Looking for a single, luxurious leaf base you can use again and again? The Rodent Grocer® 13 Varieties of Coarse Leaf Mix is a premium mix of coarsely chopped fruit tree leaves, shrub leaves, and meadow leaves, all in a pleasant balance. We deliberately package this mix in paper (not plastic) so the leaves stay nice and dry and airy, and they retain their texture better. Use it as a topping for hay, to sprinkle in the enclosure, or as a base for foraging. It's especially good as a supplement for herbivores like rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and degus.

In short
  • Premium leaf mix with 13 varieties (fruit tree, shrub and meadow leaves)
  • Coarsely cut: extra structure and fun to scatter/hide
  • Wrapped in paper instead of plastic to keep the mix dry and airy
  • Ideal with hay, in a snuffle mat or as a scattering mix
  • For rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degu (as a supplement)

Plus points

Premium leaf base with recognizable "orchard & meadow" variation
Coarser mix: pleasant to spread, search and sort
Paper packaging helps keep the leaves nice and dry and airy
Easy to combine with dried vegetables and herbs

Composition (13 species)

Apple leaves, pear leaves, blackberry leaves, raspberry leaves, cherry leaves, peach leaves, mulberry leaves, strawberry leaves, ribwort plantain, broad plantain, dandelion leaves, nettle leaves, birch leaves.

Feeding & use

  • Sprinkle a small portion through the hay or spread it over several places in the enclosure.
  • Make it extra fun by hiding the mix in a snuffle mat or food toy.
  • Want a "menu" moment? Combine this leafy base with some dried vegetables and herbs.

Good to know

  • This is a supplementary product and does not replace hay and suitable main feed.
  • Store in a dry, cool place and tightly closed so that the mix remains nice and airy.
  • Remove any residue if it becomes damp or soiled.

FAQ

Can I give this daily?
Yes, that's a great addition. Use it primarily as a topping for hay or as a sprinkle mix for variety.

Which animals is this mix intended for?
For all rodents and rabbits, but especially suitable for herbivores such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and degus. For mice, hamsters, and gerbils, a seed or grain mix often makes more sense as a supplement.

Why do you wrap this in paper?
Paper helps keep the mix dry and airy, allowing the leaves to better retain their texture and “crunchy” feel.

Fijne bladerenmix met hele bladeren! Heel geschikt voor bijvoorbeeld degoes, chinchilla's en andere knaagdieren die dit eten als hoofdvoer. De bladeren ruiken en voelen vers en zijn van goede kwaliteit.
