JR Farm Parsnip Roots are natural parsnip roots for rodents and rabbits. The roots have a firm texture and a mild, vegetable-like scent. This makes them fun to nibble on, explore, and use as a small enrichment in the enclosure.
You can offer the parsnip roots loose, feed them by hand, or hide them among hay, bedding, or a sniffing spot. This way, a simple snack immediately becomes something to search for and to keep quietly occupied with.
The package contains 50 grams. Use JR Farm Parsnip Roots as supplementary gnawing material alongside the daily main food and, for herbivores such as rabbits and guinea pigs, alongside sufficient good hay.
✔ Natural single chewing material
✔ Firm carrot structure for quiet nibbling pleasure
✔ Suitable for rodents and rabbits
✔ Great for sniffing corners, foraging bowls, and natural decor
✔ Convenient 50 gram packaging
Parsnip roots are interesting for animals that enjoy exploring natural materials. The firm shape and structure differ from soft snacks or standard kibble. As a result, your animal really has to sniff, hold, move, or nibble off pieces.
The mild vegetable scent makes these carrots attractive to discover. You can easily use them as a small enrichment activity: place a piece in the enclosure, hide it among hay, or use it in a sniffing area. This way, you stimulate natural foraging behavior without complicated preparation.
Use the parsnip roots as a supplement. For rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and degus, good hay remains the daily basis. For hamsters, mice, gerbils, and rats, you can also use the roots as a small search or collect activity.
JR Farm Parsnip Roots are suitable as supplementary gnawing material for rodents and rabbits. Adjust the quantity according to the animal species, the size of your animal, and the normal feeding pattern.
Give JR Farm Parsnip Roots as an additional snack or gnawing material. Place one or a few pieces in a dry spot in the enclosure, offer them by hand, or hide them among hay, bedding, or a sniffing area.
For smaller animals, you can offer a small piece. For larger animals, you can portion slightly more, depending on the animal and the rest of its daily diet. Check regularly to ensure that any remaining pieces are still clean and dry.
Store the packaging in a dry, cool, and tightly sealed place so that the parsnip roots retain their aroma and texture.
The package contains 50 grams. The duration of use depends on the animal species and how often you offer the parsnip roots. Small animals often last longer with one package than larger animals such as rabbits or guinea pigs. Use the product as a natural supplement and not as the main daily food.
