Wearing out, climbing and resting – all in one smart perch for birds and little climbers!
The Climbing and Perching Stick for Nail Grinding from duvoplus is a functional and enriching addition to your bird or rodent's home. This sturdy perch made of rubble stone is specially designed to naturally grind down nails and at the same time prevent boredom.
✔ Stimulates natural wear of nails and beaks
✔ Ideal for birds and climbing rodents
✔ Prevents nail overgrowth and boredom
✔ Wavy surface – better grip and variation for the paws
✔ Easy mounting with supplied wing nut
✔ Made from safe, durable rubble stone
The wavy shape provides an ergonomic seat with good grip and variation for the feet of birds, mice and rats. The structure not only helps to wear down the nails, but also to care for the beak or teeth by rubbing or gnawing along the stone.
The practical wing nut allows you to easily and securely attach the perch to the bars of any cage or aviary.
Mount the perch horizontally to the bars of the enclosure with the wing nut. For birds: choose a size where the toes cover 2/3 of the perch. Place multiple perches at different heights for extra exercise. For rodents: attach at climbing height in an easily accessible part of the enclosure.
Check regularly that the stick is firmly attached. Not suitable for very young or weak animals. Beware of excessive use in animals with sensitive paws. Replace if worn or damaged.
