Buy the best mouse toys for your mouse easily and quickly at DRD Knaagdierwinkel®

Mice are active and curious animals that like to have something to do. Toys are therefore an important part for the mice. Mice, for example, love challenges and climbing. Mice are excellent climbers! It is important that the toys are suitable for mice. You have come to the right place at DRD Muizen Webshop. With us you have a wide choice of different types of toys for a competitive price!

Do mice like to play?

Mice are very versatile! They can climb very well, balance very well, dig, jump... in short: they are jacks of all trades! As an owner, you can organize the stay in all these aspects. It's also a lot of fun to work in layers. For example, a thick layer of ground cover for digging as a lower part, some playhouses in the middle and climbing ropes in the upper layer to climb over. Mice can climb excellently and with their long tail they know how to keep their balance perfectly.

What is the best toy for mice?

Mice are real climbers, so you can train them with toys in which they can climb. An example of this are climbing ropes or toys that you can hang with bridges. Mice also love hammocks to climb in and lie down.

Can mouse toys be hung higher in the cage?

Yes, that is certainly allowed, but always make sure that you also hang something in the intermediate levels of the cage so that a possible fall can be absorbed, for example by hanging a wide hammock.

Why are foraging toys good for mice?

❤ Stimulate natural behavior: Foraging toys imitate the natural behavior of mice , namely looking for food in their environment. Challenging them to search and dig for their food stimulates their natural instincts and keeps them active and satisfied.

❤ Physical Activity: Foraging toys encourage Mice to be active and exercise. They have to walk around, dig, push and pull to get to the rewards. This promotes exercise and helps maintain a healthy weight and good physical condition.

❤ Enrichment of the environment: Foraging toys add an element of challenge and variety to the mice 's living environment. It makes their daily life more interesting and prevents them from getting bored in a monotonous environment. This can lead to better overall well-being.

❤ Prevents Overeating: Foraging toys make the feeding process slower and more challenging. This means that mice have to make more effort to get to their food, which means they cannot eat large quantities in one go. This helps prevent overeating and weight problems.

In short, foraging toys for mice provide both physical and mental stimulation, help prevent boredom and promote natural behavior. It's a great way to improve their well-being and quality of life.
