Spiderwood for Hamsterscaping & Gerbilscaping!

Spiderwood is indeed a bit reminiscent of a spider. The root has small branches that go in all directions. Spiderwood mainly has a decorative function for hamster scapes, for example. In addition, it provides extra gnawing options. If the animals have a need to gnaw, they can gnaw on the wood and wear out the teeth.

This wood can be used in different ways for different rodents. For small rodents such as: Mouse, Dwarf Hamster, Hamster and Gerbil, the wood can be used very nicely as decoration for the enclosure, as gnawing material and for mice as climbing material. To use the Spiderwood as climbing material, it is best to put several branches together (see photo).

We do not recommend these branches for larger rodents such as Rat, Guinea Pig, Rabbit, Chinchilla and Degu because of the protruding thin twigs in connection with the eyes of the animals.
