The crab pyramid is made of natural loam (clay). The animals also encounter these in their natural environment. The loam is rich in natural minerals and trace elements. In the wild, the animals lick and gnaw the loam when they need these nutrients. The crab pyramid has a small top layer consisting of dried carrot and parsley.
The pyramid is not enriched so that the animals are never encouraged to excessively gnaw the pyramid.
TIP! You don't have to throw the pyramid away once the carrot and parsley top layer has been nibbled on. The animals will use the pyramid as needed to replenish mineral deficiencies.

Mijn hamsters zijn er dol op!

Het bovenste gedeelte was er binnen een week af maar ze vind het groene gedeelte ook lekker en ik ben ook blij dat ik de nagels niet zelf hoef te doen want dat lijkt me spannend

Het bovenste stukje had onze dwerghamster er in een dag afgegeven. Verder kijkt hij er niet naar om. Ik leg iedere keer wat lekkers op het puntje, maar ik had er langer plezier van verwacht. Het lekker pakt hij er namelijk gemakkelijk af dus het effect is binnen 1 dag weg want lang staat hij er niet tegenaan.

Ik vind het grappig bedacht. Het ziet er lekker uit met de kruiden en de stukje gedroogde wortel. Mijn hamster moet het zelf nog uitproberen. Ze heeft namelijk redelijk lange nageltjes. Ik heb al van alles geprobeerd. Ik hoop dat het werkt, anders wordt het toch maar een nagelschaartje :(
